I hear ya. Have you seen the news video where one bird was injured and another bird was nursing it? Many people say that it was so touching and that they never saw a bird do that..but then there was the case with the dogs. One got hit and the other one protected it. We think that this is unusual behavior for animals. NOT! As humans we have become so unloving that we think animals are acting like humans…pets are great to have to remind us of how we should love one another..
Very nice. I did a research paper on happyness that was mostly about learning from pets. I lvoe you little terrier, too. Ever since I found my scruffy terrier mutt I fell in low with the terrier types, the little whiskers and eyebrows maybe. You pup has the same cute shyness my terrier mix does.

That first puppy looked like a Cairn Terrier. Same breed as the dog in the Wizard of Oz. I had a Cairn once, he was the best dog EVAH. Smart and cute and peppy but not spastic or yappy. A great breed. Very old breed, ancestor of Scotties and Westies. Used in Wales to keep vermin out of graveyards (”cairn” in Welsh means “rock” or “stone”). They’re sometimes called graveyard dogs. Cool cool dogs.
